The tasks of the Finance Committee include:
- Approval of the annual budget proposal.
- Ensuring integrity and transparency.
- Receiving and monitoring donations.
- Ensuring the safety and legality of donation collection methods.
- Preparing reports for major donors and providing them with annual reports for tax purposes.
The tasks of the Academic Committee include:
- Developing strategic plans for the enhancement of all academic programs at the university and adding new specializations that align with job market needs.
- Reviewing recommendations regarding changes to the curricula and all aspects of academic systems.
- Supporting and organizing cultural, social, and sports activities at the university.
- Approving the curricula for academic departments at the university.
- Monitoring the academic development process of the university's programs.
- Maintaining continuous coordination with the Quality Assurance and Academic Development Department to identify the developmental needs of the university.
- Providing the university with advice and observations to improve the performance of the faculties.
The tasks of the Development and Projects Committee include:
- Evaluating proposed engineering studies for projects.
- Studying and rehabilitating buildings and facilities, improving their structural efficiency, and providing technical solutions.
- Assessing and studying major projects.
- Monitoring and evaluating technical studies for projects within the university.
- Monitoring the implementation of construction projects funded by donations.
- Participating in acceptance committees for completed projects by the Construction Department.
- Reviewing monthly reports on project implementation and summarizing the achievements of the Construction Department.
The tasks of the International Relations Committee include:
- Introducing the university's activities and gaining community support to build a positive reputation for the university and its branches.
- Establishing appropriate communication channels with the local, regional, and international community.
- Participating in the development of preventive and remedial plans to enhance the university's image in society.
- Contributing to the development of a specific communication strategy.
- Reviewing various publications issued by the university in terms of content and preparation.
- Connecting the university with universities and governments worldwide through continuous communication and participation in various events.
- Organizing national, social, and religious events.
The Friends of the University Program, under the supervision of the Board of Trustees, has the following objectives:
- Upholding the famous saying, "A friend in need is a friend indeed."
- Supporting the university morally, academically, and financially.
- Strengthening relationships between the university and the community, as well as fostering friendships with other universities.
- Providing assistance to the university and mobilizing support during times of tension, war, and unjust sieges that affect the lives and well-being of students.
- Participating in joyful moments, celebrations, and international conferences alongside the university.
- Unifying efforts and organizing work to achieve the highest possible benefit from the community and international solidarity provided to the university.
- Preserving the leading and distinguished role of various sectors of the local, regional, and international community, and their continuous efforts to provide all necessary support to continue the university's progress and work.
Through the Friends of the University Program, individuals and institutions can contribute to the growth and success of the university and play an active role in its development.
