The President of Gaza University, Prof. Hassan Abu Jarad, received a delegation from the Social Media Club, accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Wissam Amer, Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Languages, Dr. Raed Khader, Head of the Media Department, Dr. Ahmed Hammouda, Coordinator of Graduate Studies, and Dr. Tawfiq Abu Jarad, Director of Public Relations

The visiting delegation included Mr. Mahmoud Al-Taweel, Coordinator of the Social Media Club, Ms. Rawan Ghayada, Ms. Heba Al-Abadla and Ms. Reham Abu Hassanein, The tow delegations discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of media and communication sciences in the era of artificial intelligence and the development of regular media to the digital era.

In his turn, Prof. Hassan Abu Jarad welcomed the visiting delegation, praising the club's visit to the university and stressing the university's keenness to strengthen relations with local community institutions and youth clubs.

For his part, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Taweel, coordinator of the Social Media Club, expressed his pride this visit, stressing the club's keenness to strengthen the bonds of joint cooperation with Gaza University in several areas, including: practical training for students and university staff in the specialization of contemporary public relations and modern communication media technologies, as well as pioneering projects and community initiatives for students of the Media and Communication Department.

In the same context, Al-Taweel praised the important role played by Gaza University in providing the local market with the cadres required for various scientific fields, pointing to the active and important role of the university through its graduates and the high quality level of higher education provided by it.

At the end of the visit, the club's delegation presented an honorary shield to Gaza University, for its efforts in serving science and society.
