General Regulations

  1. An academic year consists of two semesters, with the possibility of an additional summer semester.
  2. University fees are payable at the beginning of each semester, within specified deadlines. The installment of fees is only allowed in exceptional cases approved by the relevant authority. Students are permitted to withdraw their files and receive a refund of their university fees according to the following conditions:
      1. 90% of the fees can be refunded during the first week of the semester.
      2. 70% of the fees can be refunded during the second week of the semester.
      3. Half of the fees can be refunded during the third week of the semester.
      4. After three weeks of the start of the academic term, students are not allowed to receive any refund, and the fees cannot be transferred to another student.
  3. The Admission and Registration Department is responsible for regularly providing the different faculties with the required data about their students.
  4. The Faculty Dean, in coordination with the Admission and Registration Department, is responsible for monitoring the academic records of each student enrolled in any department of the faculty, verifying their eligibility for graduation, and notifying the student periodically.
  5. The graduation certificate is awarded upon fulfillment of the requirements, and the graduation ceremony takes place once at the end of each academic year.
  6. The student must obtain a clearance certificate from the university to complete their graduation procedures.
  7. A student who has withdrawn or transferred from a college for academic reasons is not allowed to be admitted back to the same college.
  8. The University Council is the authorized body to interpret these regulations.
