يسرّني، بصفتي عميد شؤون الطلبة بجامعة غزة، أن أرحب بكم عبر الموقع الإلكتروني للعمادة، التي تُعدّ القلب النابض للحياة الجامعية ومحور الاهتمام بالطلبة على المستويين الأكاديمي والإنساني. نعمل في عمادة شؤون الطلبة على توفير بيئة تعليمية متكاملة تعزز من قدرات طلبتنا، وتنمّي مهاراتهم، وتدعم طموحاتهم نحو التميز والإبداع، إيمانًا منا بأن الطالب هو محور العملية التعليمية وركيزتها الأساسية.
تسعى العمادة إلى تقديم مجموعة متكاملة من الخدمات التي تلبي احتياجات الطلبة، بدءًا من الإرشاد الأكاديمي والنفسي، مرورًا بالأنشطة اللامنهجية والثقافية والرياضية، وصولًا إلى دعم المبادرات الطلابية وتعزيز روح القيادة والعمل الجماعي. كما نحرص على ترسيخ قيم الانتماء والمسؤولية المجتمعية لدى الطلبة، من خلال إشراكهم في برامج تطوعية ومجتمعية تسهم في خدمة المجتمع وتعزيز دوره في التنمية.

Introduction to Student Affairs
Gaza University is a prominent academic institution that values the university student as the core of the academic and educational process. In order to ensure the continuation of the educational process in its proper form, Gaza University established the Student Affairs Deanship at the beginning of the academic year 2010-2009. The Student Affairs Deanship is responsible for overseeing all aspects of student affairs during their university studies.
The Student Affairs Deanship is considered the vibrant and active heart of the university. It serves as a hub for the creativity and talents of students in various fields. It supports non-curricular cultural and sports activities aimed at enhancing the students' culture, expanding their knowledge, and helping them acquire beneficial knowledge and experiences. It encourages their participation in community engagement, reinforces their sense of belonging to their university and society, and provides them with opportunities to pursue activities that align with their interests and talents under an official umbrella. It enables them to participate both inside and outside the university.
From the moment students enter the university, the Student Affairs Deanship opens its doors to them, familiarizes them with the university and its facilities, and begins the process of shaping their personalities in all aspects. It greatly enhances their creativity and talents, making them leaders in society after their university life.
Objectives of the Student Affairs Deanship
The objectives of the Student Affairs Deanship stem from the university's goals and higher education policy:
- Contribute to the preparation of university students to achieve a balanced and integrated personality.
- Develop students' potentials and talents and utilize them in productive activities, making the best use of their free time.
- Encourage students to engage in social participation and foster relationships among them.
- Provide comfort, stability, and tranquility for students.
- Connect students with their community and affirm their loyalty to their homeland and nation.
- Contribute to the care of academically outstanding students and students with special needs.
- Harness students' practical skills and make use of their leisure time for their benefit.
- Promote a sound societal culture within the community.
- Provide social and psychological support for students.
- These objectives reflect the commitment of the Student Affairs Deanship to the holistic development and well-being of students, fostering a positive and enriching university experience.
The tasks of the Student Affairs Deanship include:
Providing a safe and attractive university environment that respects privacy and ensures the rights of others.
- Serving students in the areas of guidance, counseling, and taking care of their various aspects.
- Supervising non-curricular activities (cultural and sports) for students, monitoring them, and attempting to provide the necessary material and moral resources.
- Establishing a database on the educational and social conditions of students.
- Monitoring the implementation of the scholarship and exemption program provided by the university in coordination with relevant authorities.
- Coordinating and communicating with faculties and various departments within the university to address academic and administrative issues for students.
- Networking with local and international institutions and associations to support university students.
- Monitoring the implementation of the academic system, university regulations, and instructions regarding students in coordination with the Admission and Registration Deanship.
- Addressing the daily problems faced by students and working on finding appropriate solutions.
- Membership in the Student Discipline Committee.
- Monitoring cleanliness and health conditions in the university cafeteria.

The Graduates Unit
Through establishing the Graduates Unit, Gaza University aims to align the outcomes of higher education with the requirements of the job market for its graduates, and to maintain the relationship between the university and its graduates by building channels of communication and cooperation with community institutions to serve both the graduates and the university.
Vision:
To maintain positive and continuous engagement with local community institutions in order to achieve integration between university programs and the requirements of the job market.
Mission:
To establish channels of communication between the university and its graduates through monitoring and providing developmental services to enhance their competencies, life skills, and guide them towards the job market.
Objectives of the Graduates Unit:
- Building a database for graduates, including their majors, grades, contact information, and addresses.
- Ensuring communication with various institutions to provide services for the employment of new graduates.
- Identifying the employment rates of graduates in fields relevant to their majors.
- Developing the skills of graduates through training programs that suit the job market.
- Recognizing the innovations and success stories of graduates.
- Establishing communication channels with the graduates' units in local universities to support the exchange of experiences.
- Designating an annual day (Graduates' Day) for celebration.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Graduates Unit:
- Issuing and attesting certificates.
- Building a comprehensive database for graduates.
- Promoting success stories and innovations of graduates.
- Celebrating and honoring graduates who have assumed high positions.
- Coordinating with local institutions for the development and enhancement of graduates' skills.
- Training graduates on the best and easiest ways to write resumes, prepare for interviews, fill out job application forms, write reports, etc.
Departments of the Graduates Unit:
- Graduates Relations Department, including the Public Relations Division.
- Job Qualification Department, including vocational training courses and career counseling.
- Development and Follow-up Department.
- Graduate: Any student who has completed the required courses according to the curriculum.
- Expected Graduate: Any student who has registered for all the remaining courses in the curriculum and is awaiting their results.
- Graduation Semester: The last semester in which a decision to graduate the student was issued by the University Council.
- Courses Outside the Curriculum: Any course successfully completed by the student but not included in their study plan.
- Course Equivalency: Exemption of the student from studying a course included in their study plan due to successful completion of a similar course.
- Clearance: The process of settling financial and administrative requirements with the Student Affairs and the college the student is enrolled in.
- Graduation Documents include the graduation certificate and the transcript in both Arabic and English.
