The Faculty of Communication and Languages at Gaza University organized a workshop on English conversation for the students of the department and the faculty. The activity was part of the faulcty’s initiatives aimed at enhancing students' abilities and skills. Dr. Wesam Amer, the Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Languages, emphasized the importance of this workshop in developing students' English speaking skills, enabling them to engage in the job market.

The workshop started with the trainer, Malik Al-Haw, delivering a lecture and conducting training exercises where students introduced themselves in English using a formal approach. The focus was on commonly used idioms and phrases in the language. The workshop also included an open discussion and a Q&A session where students from the department and the faculty could ask questions and seek clarification on the topic. The workshop concluded with debates to encourage students to speak and defend their opinions in English.

The event was attended by Dr. Wesam Amer, the Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Languages, Rula Mansour, the Head of the English Language and Translation Department, as well as students from the college and the university.
