Trainer in Game Development (Advanced 2D and 3D Modeling)
Introduction:
Gaza University (GU) has received a grant from the Quality Improvement Fund (QIF) - Education to Work Transition Project - Ministry of Education and Higher Education and funded by the World Bank for the project entitled: Enhancing the Quality of Multimedia Program to Get Engaged in Game Industry (EMPEG); The project aims to develop the multimedia program at Gaza University towards game development to enhance graduates employability and open a new market for them locally and internationally. Accordingly, Gaza University seeks to recruit a qualified trainer in game development (Advanced 2D and 3D Modeling)
Assignment Objective:
Gaza University is considering the selection of a highly qualified trainer to be part of the consultation team, who will be responsible for training a group of 15 students in game development related applications specifically in advanced 2D and 3D modeling
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
The trainer will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Develop an action plan for conducting the training mission. This includes the main topics to be covered, and the types of evaluation methodologies will be used.
- Develop, design, and submit an effective detailed training material (Theoretical + practical) with the required format, supported with necessary photos, graphs, and shot screens in order to get the project team approval before starting the training process.
- Assessment of the students’ skills before and after the training
- Deliver around 15hour training session for a group of 15 students
- Provision of detailed report of the implemented tasks and associated deliverables.
- Performing other duties as may be assigned by the project director concerning the training
Note: All required tasks and responsibilities are included within the cost of delivered training hour.
Qualifications & Skills:
Qualified consultant should possess the following:
- At least B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Information Technology or any related discipline from a recognized university.
- Proven previous work experience in conducting similar assignment.
- At least 3 years of excellent experience in the field of Game Artist.
- Three years minimum proven previous experience in training sector.
- Ability to utilize different teaching/training methods to easily develop the skills in the field.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Large autonomy; high flexibility and adaptation capacities to the contexts and environment, solution-oriented.
- Highly qualified in communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to comply strictly with deadlines and work in a timely manner.
Deliverables:
- A detailed action plan including methodology, time frame, and the main activities of the process of delivering the required training.
- An effective detailed training material (Theoretical + practical) with the required format, supported with necessary photos, graphs, and shot screens before starting the training course.
- Assessment of the students’ skills before and after the training.
- A successfully delivered training course consisting of 15hours intensive training course (theoretical and practical) for a groups of 15 students who are working on game development
- Detailed report including the final assessment of the trainees' accomplishments, training outcomes, the required recommendations and success stories and testimonies. Approval on the submitted report from project director is a must..
Note: All required deliverables are included within the cost of delivered training hour. (The project team approval on the submitted deliverables is a must)
Level of effort and time frame:
The training should be delivered to the selected students within one week/20 training hours for a group of 15 students; this consultation service depends on the approved training plan submitted by the consultant.
Start Date: 14/2/2021.
Contract Type: Lump Sum Contract.
