The Accounting Department at the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences organized a scientific symposium on work mechanisms within self-employment platforms. The symposium was started by Dr. Tareq Abu Hjayyer, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, welcoming the attendees, and stressing the importance of such meetings that would enhance the capabilities of Faculty students to deal with self-employment platforms. He indicated the university's keenness to hold such meetings, as they are of great importance to students.

The guest of the meeting, Ms. Diana Al-Saadi, a lecturer in the Accounting Department and an expert in the field of self-employment, spoke about the conditions and requirements necessary to increase the students’ skill in dealing with self-employment platforms, and how to register in the self-employment platforms, expressing her thanks to the university for this important initiative, which came at the right time.

Dr. Firas Shehadeh, Head of the Accounting Department, stressed the importance of paying attention to the practical qualification related to the requirements necessary for business development, and the need to pay attention to the personal aspects and develop them in line with the requirements of modern businesses.

The meeting included opening the door for discussion, dialogues and inquiries on the subject.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Hassan Abu Jarad, President of the University, Dr. Tariq Abu Hjayyer, Acting Academic Vice President of the University and Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Dr. Firas Shehadeh, Head of the Accounting Department, Ms. Diana Al-Saadi, an expert in the field of self-employment, and a group of lecturers and students of the Faculty.
