The Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Government, organizes a scientific workshop on recent trends in public administration at the Ministry of Local Government.

On Saturday 14/01/2023, the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences and the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Government, organized a scientific workshop on modern trends in public administration at the Ministry of Local Government, as part of the course of contemporary issues in public administration in the Master program of Public Administration.
Eng. Mona Skaik, Director General of the Planning and Institutional Performance Development Unit at the Ministry of Local Government, and Eng, and Wafaa Ahmed, Director of the Programming Department at the Ministry, gave presentations that highlighted the most important modern administrative trends of the Ministry of Local Government, especially those related to good governance and the promotion of citizenship and community partnership, in addition to digital transformation plans. Local authorities have access to the concept of smart municipality.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Tariq Abu Hjayyer, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Dr. Siham Abu Al-Amreen Q.A., Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Dr. Ibrahim Abu Rahma, teacher of the course of contemporary issues in public administration, in addition to members of the faculty and students of the Master program of Public Administration.
The workshop concluded with the interventions and inquiries of the attendees and students, whose outputs were well influenced.
