Indicators of the Palestinian economy, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hassan Abu Jarad, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Riyad Al-Khudari, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Marwan Al-Agha, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Union of Palestinian Economists, Prof. Dr. Samir Abu Mudalla (preparer of the paper), and Dr. Tariq Abu Hjayyer, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences Administrative and financial, the symposium was attended by members of the faculty, members of the General Secretariat and the Supreme Council of the General Union of Palestinian Economists, specialists in the Palestinian economy and university students.

Prof. Dr. Samir Abu Mudallallah reviewed his paper, which dealt with the impact of rising global prices on Palestinian real economic growth, income levels, wages, and purchasing power. It also showed that the Palestinian economy's dependence on grants and development aid contributed to the failure in advancing the productive process and widen the circle of poverty.

The symposium concluded with a set of questions and interventions from the attendees.
